Synergies International Consulting s. p.

Synergies International Consulting is a consulting company headquartered in Slovenia since 2005. It specializes and focuses on consulting in the areas of disaster management, civil protection, disaster risk reduction, preparedness and prevention, humanitarian assistance, civil-military coordination, security policy and related fields.

For BOTC’s MODEX.EU 2011 - 2012, Synergies International Consulting has been contracted to provide services related to the identification, recruitment, training and deployment of training personnel for the five Module field exercises as well as the development of the scenarios for the exercises.

Synergies International Consulting is led by Wolfgang G. Krajic, who is the main trainer for MODEX.EU 2011 - 2012, jointly with René Wagemans. Among themselves, René (BE) and Wolfgang (AT) have more than 25 years of experience (including a dozen or so field missions) in disaster response and humanitarian assistance in all parts of the world in various organisations (national and international). Over the last few years, both have been significantly involved the European Community Civil Protection Mechanism including field missions, training courses, exercises, etc. with a special focus on the EC Civil Protection Mechanism Module system.
